SOLID STEEL SHEAVE BODY:
All our sheaves are solid steel and virtually indestructible. Sheaves up to 16" diameter are machined from solid 1045 steel round bar. Sheave 14" to 60" have rope grooves hardened to 35-40 RC (optional on smaller sheaves). When your Strongman sheave is load-tested to destruction, the wire rope breaks before the sheave is damaged. This ensures you receive the highest possible quality materials.
