Should I Buy a Power Swager?

When it comes to swaging, you may be wondering if you should choose a handswager, battery swager, or powered swager. Each of these swagers have advantages, however in today’s blog we will be focusing on why we recommend a power swager. We will provide information about three of our powered swagers, the Locoloc® M2-P, the Locoloc® M2-PDK, and the Locoloc® M2-PK. These swaging machines have unique capabilities and make swaging simple and effective. By choosing a powered swager, your time to complete swages will be significantly reduced. M2-P Powered:

The M2-P machine contains an M2 Locoloc® Type II Swager with a 2.5 horse power single phase 115 volt motor. The machine offers a power drive for optional application to the Type II swaging machine. It is important to note that this machine also conforms to the Military Specification, MIL-S-6180. M2-PDK:

 Similar to the M2-P, the M2-PDK has a M2 Locoloc® Type II Swager. However, this machine has a 15 horse power single phase 115 volt motor, opposed to the 2.5 horse power the M2-P has. The M2-P conforms to MIL-S-6180 and like our other machines is Made in the USA. The machines comes with a right angle gear reducer and also has 2 chain sprockets, a roller chain, and adjustable base to tighten the chain.

M2-PK Kit:

The M2-PK kit comes with the M2P swaging machine, alongside a wide range of components. We recommend choosing a kit when you are looking to have everything for your swaging needs right at your fingertips and do not want to waste time shipping in extra parts to complete your swaging projects. The kit contains 7 sets of ball terminal roll dies, 10 sets of straight shank roll dies, 4 gauges for all ball & shank terminals, and much more.
