The bench swager is a tool for copper and aluminum sleeves only. The swager does eye, lap, and stop sleeve splicing of cables up to 3/16″ diameter. The jaws will swage 1/16”, 3/32”, 1/8”, 5/32”, and 3/16” oval and stop sleeves. The tool can also swage 7/32” stop sleeves. #1-BSC is 6.6 lbs. and is 22.5” in length. A bench swager is a much less portable tool than a handswager.
A handswager is a portable tool for completing swages. The #3-H swager weighs 13 lbs. and is a hydraulic compression tool with a two stage section for use with interchangeable die sets, ¼” to ½”. The tool exerts 14 tons of pressure and has a 180 degree swivel “C” head. The swivel head makes it easy to position the dies on the fitting.

A swaging kit gives you all the tools you will need to complete a successful swage. The #3-K kit contains 6 sets of dies, 6 sets of gauges, a carrying case, and the #3-H hydraulic handswaging tool. The interchangeable dies make swaging much faster. The kit is portable and will easily move around job sites.
